What Linenfold is
- A web app for couples planning their own wedding. It replaces a multi-tab planning spreadsheet with one shared place for the two of you.
- Both partners (and optionally a planner or family member) plan in the same place.
- What is in it: guest list, guest address collection, budget and payment log, vendor comparison and confirmed vendors, seating chart, task checklist, appointments, timelines, day-of packing lists and a printable wedding day binder.
- Free public tools that work without an account: a seating chart maker, a budget calculator, a wedding checklist dated from the wedding day, a venue scorecard that weights 32 criteria across up to six venues, and a spreadsheet importer that previews a planning workbook in the browser before anything is uploaded.
- Available in English, for couples in the United States and Canada first.
What it costs
- Free plan: free forever. Includes unlimited seating tables, 75 guest household rows, 5 vendors, address collection, budget what-if, checklist and data export.
- Complete: US$99 one time per wedding (CA$129). Founding price US$79 (CA$99) until 2027-02-28 or the first 500 buyers.
- Complete is not a subscription and never auto-renews. It stays active until 12 months after the wedding date, after which the plan is read-only and still exportable.
- Refunds: full refund within 30 days of purchase.
- Payments are processed by Paddle, the merchant of record.
How data is handled
- No vendor marketplace and no lead-selling. Personal information is never sold or shared for advertising.
- Guest contact details are encrypted at rest. Each wedding is kept separate from every other by database-level access controls.
- Share links are tokenised, read-only, revocable and excluded from search engines.
- Analytics are cookie-free and first-party. No ad pixels, no session replay.
- Data export (CSV and JSON) and account deletion are available on every plan.
